We seek a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent part-time basis as a Clinical Nurse Educator.
The successful applicant will form an integral part of a multidisciplinary team providing specialized rehabilitation to inpatients in our Brain Injury Unit. You will have the opportunity to develop into the role of a CNE is a supported and guided environment, and be responsible for clinical teaching to all levels of nursing staff in the Brain Injury Unit.
Your main duties will include:
- Develop, lead, coordinate and implement all structured learning for nurses within the Brain Injury Unit at Royal Rehab
- Clinical teaching, skill accreditation and professional development support for both nursing staff and students
- Mandatory training compliance
- Participate in the delivery of hospital orientation
We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Post-registration qualifications in brain injuries or rehabilitation nursing or 5 years' experience working in brain injury nursing
- Qualification in Workplace Assessment and Training (or working towards)
- Demonstrated evidence of clinical teaching
- Excellent communication skills and solid interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated high-level computer skills - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Demonstrated use of evidenced-based practice
